Dorianne (Schmit) Walsh, age 59, of Tennyson, passed away quietly on Friday, July 10, 2020, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, WI, after a three-year struggle with Lymphoma. She was born on February 18, 1961, in Dubuque, the daughter of Daniel and Patricia (Entringer) Schmit. Her family moved to Tennyson in 1966, where Dori graduated from Potosi High School in 1979. In 1990, Dori gave birth to a son, Clark. She centered her life and dedicated all her time to caring for her son. In her spare time, she loved to garden and braid rugs.
Dori was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia in 1973, her sister, Debra (Schmit) VanOstrand in 2007, and most recently, her dear father, Daniel on March 18, 2020.
Survivors include her beloved son, Clark; her three brothers, Dennis (Mary), Edward (Mary Fitzsimmons), Daniel J.; her sister, Diana (Darrell) Crapp; many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tennyson with Father Richard Leffler officiating. Burial will be in St. Andrew Cemetery, Tennyson. Family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
