It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chester Paul Smith Jr. of East Dubuque, Illinois, born in Scales Mound, Illinois, who passed away on May 29, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You may also light a candle in honor of Chester Paul Smith Jr. or send a beautiful flower arrangement to the funeral service.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Chester and Charlotte Smith, Sr. (Brummer); his son Daniel Thomas Smith; and his sisters, Wanda Braund, Shirley Ann Smith and Mary Lou Smith.

He is survived by : his wife Donna Smith (Blauvelt); his daughters, Tina Luzier (Geoff) and Kathy Feldman (Tom); his step-sons, Ben Blauvelt and Andrew Blauvelt (Chrystal); and his brothers, David Smith (Sandy) of Dubuque, IA and Fred Smith of California. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 4th 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home - East Dubuque (1185 IL-35, East Dubuque, IL 61025). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 4th 2021 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
