Irene Hoffmann, aged thirty-one years, died in this city at the family home, 730 12th street, at 6:05 o'clock Sunday night and after a long illness. She was born in Wisconsin, but had resided in Dubuque since childhood. Deceased is survived by her mother and one sister, Mrs. W.H. Hurd of West Dubuque. The death of the young woman is much regretted as she was a lovable character and much beloved. The funeral will be held on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock to Asbury.
