Drunkard Starves to Death.
FARLEY, Jan. 17.—Last evening the remains of Tom Roe, an old man of dissolute habits, were found in an old house he had occupied for some time. The appearances indicated that he had been dead for some days. He had probably starved to death as he had done nothing for some years past and had lived on what people gave him. Money was always spent for drink.Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1822 and is buried in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Farley.
