Willliam Frost died at the residence, 715 Stuart street Monday morning at 3 o'clock following a lingering illness.
He was born in Dubuque county July 9, 1849[sic] and had always resided in this locality.
He was married Sept. 2, 1880 to Miss Barbara Berner, who, with two daughter, Mesdames Joseph Wordehoff and Louis Cartigny, this city, four sons, William, Jr., Roy and Earl Frost, this city, Harvey Frost, St. Paul, six sisters, Mesdames William Beadle, Anna King, Cedar Rapids, Mesdames George Brown, Thomas Skelton, William Watters, Miss Laura Frost, all of Dubuque, three brothers, Joseph and John Frost, this city, James Frost, Omaha, seventeen grandchildren and one great grandchild, survive him.
He was a member of the Summit Congregational church. He was employed by the Watters-Dennis Co. for 20 years. Ten years ago he retired.
The funeral services will be held from the residence of his son, Roy Frost, 1285 Glen Oak street Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be made in Rockdale M.E. cemetery.
