John Roth, 61 years old, died at the family residence, 1814 Jackson street, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, after an illness of five months' duration. The deceased was a devout and faithful member of the Catholic church, attending St. Mary's parish and passed away comforted by its last rites.
Besides his beloved wife, two brothers, William of this city and Herman J. Roth of La Cross, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Larry Bandalien and Mrs. Joseph Gruber, both of this city, survive.
The funeral will take place Thursday morning from the family residence, 1814 Jackson street, to St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock. Interment will be made in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
