Charles Clement Welsh passed away Thursday evening at 7:30 o'clock at the residence of his mother, Mrs. Catherine Welsh, 1840 Washington street, after a lingering illness. He was born in Dubuque, May 21, 1882, and resided here during his entire life. For the last fifteen years, he had been employed by the C., M. & St. P. railroad, in the capacity of conductor.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Catherine Welsh, two brothers, Vincent J., of this city and Raymond J., of Grand Rapids, Mich. The funeral will be held from the residence, 1840 Washington street, Saturday morning, to St. Patrick's church at 9 o'clock. Interment will be made in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
