Mrs. Josephine Theobald, beloved wife of Paul Theobald, died suddenly at the home, 2401 Stafford avenue, at 7:42 o'clock Monday morning.
The funeral is to be held Wednesday morning from the home to Sacred Heart church at 9 o'clock. Interment will be made in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
Mrs. Theobald was born in this city August 2, 1868, and had always resided in this city. She was the daughter of Mrs. Amelia Vogel and the late Adam Vogel, early settlers of Dubuque.
Beside her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Roy Clark, Kansas City, and Miss Lucille Theobald, this city; two sons, Alfred, New York City, and Raymond, Dubuque; also three great-grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Amelia Vogel, this city; four sisters, Louisa Vogel, Minneapolis; Rose, Chicago; Gertrude, Dubuque, and Mrs. Charles Leik, Los Angeles; also a brother, William, Minneapolis. She was a Catholic, a member Sacred Heart church and the Rosary society of that parish.
