—James McAllister, a farmer near Cascade, aged 42, was found sitting in his chair, but dead. He had just returned from a funeral and had taken a seat to smoke and read.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1850 and is buried in St. John’s Cemetery.
