Died Monday

Henry O. Keck died at his home near Cottage Hill at midnight Monday following a lingering illness. He was born in this city 72 years ago and moved to Cottage Hill, Dubuque County, when a young man, operating a blacksmith shops there for years. He is survived by his widow and four sons, Albert H. of Lincoln, Neb.; Clarence of Sioux Falls, S. D.; Julien, East Dubuque, Ill.; and Joseph at home.

He was a member of the Cottage Hill M. E. Church and the Richardsville Lodge, Modern Woodsmen of America. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon from the home to the Methodist Church in Cottage Hill at 2:30 o’clock. Rev. H. Loemkes, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Cottage Hill Cemetery.
