The town of Farley will pay tribute to the memory of her former townsman, Dr. William McGee, a noted geologist, who served on the waterways commission under President Roosevelt. Dr. McGee bequeathed his body for dissection and the study of cancer and brain cells to specialists in Philadelphia.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born April 17, 1853 and died September 4, 1912. He is buried in the McGee Cemetery in Dubuque County.
