Jacob Rueter committed suicide by hanging himself at Dubuque. He has been an inmate of the asylum for the insane for two years. He leaves a family.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Jan. 31, 1869 and died Aug. 25, 1913. He is buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
