David G. Scott, 86 years old, a native of Pe{illegible}, Scotland, and a resident of Dubuque since 1845, banker and general merchant, one of the oldest citizens of Dubuque, died in that city.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1827 and is buried in Linwood Cemetery.
