Raymond John Otting, 66, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on April 15, 2020 at home.

According to his wishes no public visitation or service will be held. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road is assisting the family.

Ray was born on October 12, 1953 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Emil and Anna Mae (Jackson) Otting. Ray was self employed doing tree service and other odd jobs.

He loved fishing and volunteered at the food bank and Dubuque County Fair.

He is survived by two children Jason (Tracy) Otting and Jenny Maser. Four grandchildren Ashley, Bailey, Timothy and Eilajah. His siblings, Mary Weber, Emil Otting Jr., Margaret Maize, Rosemary Heim, Grace Brade, Helen (Mark) Mitchley, Phillip Otting, Christine Lyght, Racheal Bartle, and Betty Otting.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Sylvester and his best friend Harry Saunders.
