Cascade Pioneer, published in Cascade, Iowa on Friday, May 24th, 1895

This community was painfully shocked on Thursday morning when it was announced that Mrs. Faber, wife of Mathias Faber, the well-known farmer, had suddenly expired at the family residence in Cascade Township at an early hour that morning.
The deceased lady was a daughter of Mr. Frank Loes, and was born in Cascade Township in 1863, and was married to Mathias Faber 18 years ago.
She leaves to mourn her death the husband and five children, all of whom have the deep sympathy of their neighbors and friends.

The funeral takes place this forenoon at 10 o’clock from St. Mary’s Church.
