Cascade Pioneer, 19. October, 1877

DIED-On Friday morning Oct 12, 1877, Isabella Drummond, aged 73 years.
The funeral took place on Saturday from St. Martin’s Church and was largely attended by old friends and neighbors.

Mr. Drummond, was the relict of the late John Drummond, of Temple Hill and was born in the County of Derry, Ireland. In 1832 she accompanied her husband to the United States, and located at Pittsburg, Pa., and resided there until 1852, when they emigrated to the west and temporarily located at Dubuque, and in 1852, settled on a farm near Temple Hill, where she resided up to the time of her husband’s death; in 1868 she removed to Cascade, where she lived up to the time of her death. Mrs. Drummond, was a lady highly esteemed by a large circle of g friends and neighbors and was a true Christian woman.
