BERNARD J. CULLIGAN, DEAD

Bernard J. Culligan, aged 30 years, one of cascades well-known and respected young men, died Saturday, August 17, after an illness of several months. Death was due to Bright’s disease.

Deceased was born and grew to manhood in this city, and was a young man who had a large circle of friends who deeply regret to learn of his early demise. He was of a genial disposition and his pleasant manner and kindness won for him a host of admiring friends. For the past several years he had been engaged in the show business with his brother Thomas Culligan, and was successful in that line. The immediate surviving relatives are his brother, Thomas J. Culligan and Sister Miss Mary Culligan, his aunts Mrs. P. Finn and Miss Annie Connell and Uncle Daniel Connell.

The funeral took place Monday morning at 9:30 o’clock and the services were held at St. Martins’ Church, Rev. L. Roche officiating.

The pallbearers were: C. J. Devlin, Henry Takes, T. H. Glynn, George Dolphin, Elon Raffety and William Drummond.
