Among the numerous victims of the prevailing epidemic among children is J. W. Rinehart, son of A. B. and M. B. Rinehart, aged 2 years and 6 months, of whooping-cough, measles and lung fever, and spasms attendant thereon. He died at the residence of his parents, on Mineral Street, at 3:30 Saturday afternoon, and the funeral took place on Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. Mr. Rhea officiating. The deceased was a bright, intelligent child, and the bereaved parents will have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
