Sixty-four Pottawatomie Indians were on the levee yesterday, waiting for a boat to take them to the happy hunting grounds of Wisconsin, their old home where picking cranberries, shooting chickens, and with what they can steal and beg they hope to make a decent living, a thing they haven’t done since they left their old stamping grounds for the Alkai Plains of Dakota a year or two ago.
