FARLEY, Iowa -- Delores M. "Babe" Leuchs, 76, of Farley, Iowa, died Sunday, December 27, 2015, at her home in Farley, Iowa.

Friends and relatives of Babe may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, January 1, 2016, at the Reiff Funeral Home in Farley, Iowa, where a wake service will be held at 6 p.m.

Services for Babe will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Farley, Iowa, with Rev. Michael Schueller presiding. Burial will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Farley, Iowa.

She was born August 31, 1939, in Asbury, Iowa, daughter of Herman J. and Olivia (Kirpes) Leuchs. She received her education in the East Scott School and was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School in Farley, Iowa.

She enjoyed living in the country. She loved all her farm animals especially the cats, kittens and dogs. She was a lifelong caregiver, always tending to the needs of her family and extended family.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Farley and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Vera Leuchs, of Dubuque, IA; nieces and nephews, Ron (Marcia) Leuchs, of Worthington, Rick (Mary Beth) Leuchs and Mark (Patty) Leuchs, both of Dyersville, Mike (Sue) Leuchs, of New Vienna, Dan (Kelli) Leuchs, of Epworth, Don (Joan) Leuchs, of Dyersville, Bob (Kathy) Leuchs, of Mesa, AZ, Dave (Karla) Leuchs, of Dubuque, Laurie (Rick) Randecker, of East Dubuque, IL, Donna (Bill) Cheever, of Big Lake, MN, Sharon (Steve) DeMuth, of Hazel Green, WI, Sandy (Ed) Delaney, of Tipton; and several great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers and a sister-in-law, Bernard, Joseph, Clarence and Edward (Eleanor) Leuchs; a sister and brother-in-aw, Rita (Bill) Oberbroeckling; a niece, Jean Hansel; a nephew, Dan Oberbroeckling; and a great nephew, Andy DeMuth.
