Warren Leroy Waller, aged 3 years, 3 months and 18 days was terribly scalded at 10 o'clock Monday morning from the effects of which he died yesterday morning.

He was hauling his little sister, aged 14 months, on a vehicle, consisting of a bread pan to the handle of which a rope was attached, when, in backing into the kitchen, he fell backward into a bucket of boing water which was standing in the doorway.

Although immediately rescued by the hired girl, his scalds, produced by falling in and by his saturated dress, proved fatal. A neighboring lady was instantly called in, and she having been a doctress, applied soothing lotions, bandaged him and he became easy. A physician called on his twice, but spasms set in and ended his life. The little girl was scaled from her waist to her elbow on the left arm, and suffered much pain. She is in no danger, however.

The funeral will occur Thursday afternoon and the interment will be in Rockdale.
