Dr. Chandler Poor died yesterday morning at the residence, No. 1111 Bluff street, of his brother, Judge B.W. Poor. The cause was a form of apoplexy, though he had been in feeble health for years.

He was a native of Berlin, Washington county, Vermont, and nearly 66 years of age. An obituary will appear hereafter.

DIED - In this city, Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1886, of paralysis, Dr. Chandler Poor, aged 65 years, 6 months and 20 days.

Funeral services will be held at the residence of his brother, B.W. Poor, No. 1111 Bluff street, tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 10 o'clock. Burial private. Friends of the deceased are cordially invited.

At a meeting of the dentists of Dubuque, Iowa, which was fully attended, at the office of Dr. W.P. Dickinson, Tuesday evening, February 2, to take suitable action and pay respect to the memory of Dr. Chandler Poor, who for about thirty years has been an honored member of the profession of the city and state.
