A Bereaved Family
~
On Christmas night the family of David G. Scott, Esq., received the painful intelligence by telegraph that their daughter, Lillian L., had departed this life after a short illness in New York City, whither, about three months ago; she went on a visit to her sister, Mrs. Sol Turck. The family had been advised of her condition, but, nevertheless was not prepared to receive the news that Lillian “had been called home.” Mr. Scott reached her bedside before she died. The bereaved family will have the sympathy of all who knew the deceased, in the affliction that has fallen upon them. She was a young lady of many accomplishments, and endeared herself to all by her engaging manner and kindness and disposition. He remains will reach here this morning for interment.
