From the Dubuque Telegraph Herald, Monday May 6, 1929: MRS. MARGARET HAIL
Mrs. Margare Hail, wife of George Hail, died Sunday morning at the family residence, 2631 Pinnard street, at 11 o'clock, following two days' illness. Mrs. Hail was born at Dickeyville, Wis., June 26, 1888 and has been a life long resident of this community. The deceased is survived by her husband, George, two daughters, Genevieve, Joann, one son, Arnold, all of Dubuque; her father, August Ginter, Dickeyville; five sisters, Mrs. Henry Schroeder, Mrs. Gotlieb Wagner, Mrs. Joseph Schroeder of Dickeyville, Wis., Mrs. Anton Koenig, Platteville and Miss Veronica Ginter, Dubuque; seven brothers, William, Henry, Leo, Edward, Louis, Phillip and Alphonse of Dickeyville. The funeral will be held from the family residence to the Holy Ghost church at 10:15 o'clock Tuesday morning. Interment will be made in Mt. Calvary.
