Fireman Jumped to His Death.
The Chicago, Burlington and Quincy passenger train on the way to East Dubuque crashed into the rear end of a Burlington freight train at Menominee, thirteen miles south of East Dubuque. Fireman Carter of La Crosse, Wis., of the passenger train was killed as a result of jumping when he saw the collision was inevitable.
