Body of Missing Dubuque Woman Found in River.
Mrs. Blanche Schoenthal, who mysteriously disappeared from her home in West Dubuque on the evening of April 18 and for whom a search was made that was unprecedented in Iowa for its thoroughness, has been found. Her body was discovered floating in the Mississippi river three miles below Dubuque. It had been supposed by the relatives that Mrs. Schoenthal was in the vicinity of Waterloo, or in some other place in Northern Iowa. It is believed that she had walked to Epworth and taken a westbound Illinois Central train at that place. A hundred dollars reward was offered for information leading to the discovery of the woman, and in all of the church pulpits in Waterloo notice was read from Sheriff Dunn of Dubuque, asking members of their respective parishes to assist in the search.
