Sister Patricia Ann “Pam” (Marie Job) Miller, OP, died April 25, 2019. Professed in 1967, she taught in the following schools: Regina, Minneapolis; Trinity, River Forest, IL; and Bethlehem Academy, Faribault, MN. Sr. Pam served as pastoral minister and led the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program at St. Matthew Parish, Kalispell, MT. She lived in the Alaska interior, ministering as pastoral administrator in bush villages along the Yukon River with Athabascan Native people and serving railbelt towns along the Nenana River at St. Theresa Parish, Nenana; Holy Mary of Guadalupe Parish, Healy; and the Air Force Early Warning Radar Base, Clear, as well as serving as an itinerant preacher along the coast near Cordova. Sr. Pam served the Sinsinawa Dominican Congregation as a member of the Western Province leadership team, during which time she helped welcome the Spokane Dominicans as they merged with the Sinsinawa Dominicans. She taught at Marylhurst University, Marylhurst, OR, developing the first online courses and programs that served the needs of adult working students. May she rest in peace.
