A small wad of paper, originally a portion of a playing card, was responsible for the death of Harry Stein, the 13-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Stein, of Dubuque. A port-mortem examination by Dr. Becker revealed the location of the foreign substance which blotted out the child’s tender life. Later developments in the case proves that the wad of paper was forced into the helpless child’s throat by its 4-year-old brother.

Transcriber's Note: Find-a-Grave shows he is buried in Linwood Cemetery and that he was born September 12, 1904 and died November 9, 1905
