June C. Palm, 74, of 1000 S. Grandview Ave., died Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Siegert-Casper Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., where there will be a parish scripture wake service at 3 p.m.

She was born on Feb. 22, 1930, in Dubuque, daughter of Spilios and Edvena (Hannig) Theoharris.

She married Kenneth J. Palm on May 15, 1948, in Dubuque. They enjoyed 55 wonderful years together and would gladly do it all again.

June enjoyed shopping, sitting on her porch, her blue rosary and spending time with family and friends.

She was known for giving to others in any way she could. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving are her husband, Kenneth J. Palm, of Dubuque; six children, Karen (Dennis) Wolter, of Peosta, Iowa, and Marolyn (Don) Donath, Kathy (Dan) Schmit, Darlene (Bob) Trilk, Jolene Boever (friend, Chris Gockel) and Kenny Palm Jr., all of Dubuque; and 21 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Harriet Forkes and Sarah "Sal" Livermore.

A June C. Palm Memorial Fund has been established.

The family would like to thank Dr. Whalen, Dr. Haas, the nursing staff and the sisters at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque for all their care.
