Mrs. Jessie Barton, 70, of Epworth, died at 2:10 a.m. Saturday at Finley Hospital after a long illness.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. at the Haudenshield Funeral Home in Epworth. Services will be held at 3 p.m. to the Epworth Methodist Church and burial will be in Highview Cemetery, Epworth.

Mrs. Barton was born Feb. 22, 1881 in Peosta. She moved to Epworth 50 years ago. She was a member of the Epworth Methodist Church.

Surviving are a brother, Samuel Moore of Andrews, S. Carolina; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Minnie Hinde of Epworth and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and two children.
