Drowned-Mr. James Chotsey, of this City, was drowned some ten days since, while attempting to cross the Little Maquoketa in the neighborhood of Burton’s Furnace. The river at the time was very much swollen. Mr. Chotsey was a resident of the city for many years, and has left a wife and three children.
