Sister Clementine Kuhle, BVM (Lioba), 99, of 1130 Carmel Drive, Dubuque, Iowa, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at Caritas Center.

Visitation will be from 9-10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, in the Marian Hall Chapel. Sharing of Memories will be at 10:15 a.m., followed immediately by the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial is in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Sister Clementine was a staff supervisor at the Mount Carmel Motherhouse, Dubuque, Iowa; and an elementary teacher in Omaha, Nebr.; San Francisco and Petaluma, Calif.; Butte, Mont.; and Chicago where she also ministered as a religious education coordinator.

She was born on April 26, 1919, in Fairplay, Wis., to Frank and Esther Richards Kuhle. She entered the BVM congregation Sept. 8, 1937, from Nativity Parish, Dubuque, Iowa. She professed first vows on March 19, 1940, and final vows on Aug. 15, 1945.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raymond, Richard and LaVern; and sister Dolores Ryan. She is survived by nieces, nephews, and the Sisters of Charity, BVM, with whom she shared life for 81 years.
