Sister Margaret Mihm, OP

Sister Margaret (Elenara) Mihm, OP, died Friday, October 26, 2018, in the 101st year of her life.
Her funeral Mass at the Sinsinawa motherhouse will be held at 10:30 a.m., October 30, 2018. The wake service is at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018.

She ministered as a high school business education teacher in Milwaukee, Wis.; Mobile, Ala.; Wausau, Wis.; Burbank, Il; Tyler, Texas and Atlanta, Ga; and as business officer at Rosary and Edgewood Colleges, and Sinsinawa. She was secretary of the Eastern Province and for seven years was secretary of Project OPUS. She returned to Sinsinawa in 2002; she joined the community at St. Dominic Villa in 2017. Sister Margaret was born in Washington, D.C., October 2, 1917, to George and Marie Ellen (Murphy) Mihm. She is survived by a brother, nieces and nephews, and her Dominican sisters. Leonard Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
