Mrs. Mary Wall, who had been ill a short time, was summoned by death at the home, 923 Bluff street, this morning at 3:30 o'clock.
She was born in this city February 8, 1853, the daughter of the late John and Mary Lavin, and had always resided here. She was a Catholic, a member of St. Patrick's church, and in her last hour she was comforted by the rites of that religion. She was a kind and loving mother and her death will be mourned by all who knew her.
Besides a son, Michael, Holy Cross, she is survived by five daughters, Miss Margaret, Chicago, Mrs. Earl Maury, Table Mount township, Mesdames Grover Maury, Edward Apel and Mayme Remuset, all of Dubuque; twelve grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. J.J. Rooney, Cameron, Mo., Mrs. T.B. Prew, St. Peter, Minn., and Mrs. Phil Lavery, this city.
The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
