Sister Leopold Kaufmann, OP, died May 29, 2018. Professed in 1942, she taught in the following schools: St. Sabina, Chicago; St. James, Rockford, IL; Immaculate Conception, Waukegan, IL; Our Lady of Mercy, Bronx, NY; St. Vincent Ferrer, River Forest, IL; St. Augustine, South St. Paul, MN; St. James, Kenosha, WI; Edgewood Campus, Madison, WI; and Holy Rosary, Minneapolis. Sr. Leopold served the Sinsinawa Dominican Congregation as finance officer, assistant finance officer/medical accountant, and secretary to the Prioress of the Congregation. She ministered as finance officer at Camp WeHaKee, Winter, WI, and sacristan at the Motherhouse, Sinsinawa. May she rest in peace.
