Funeral of Grove Lighthall

Word was received from Mr. Nathan Lighthall, at Elkhart, Indiana, directing that his son be buried here, and saying he would write by next mail. Accordingly poor Grove was given a Christian burial, yesterday afternoon under the direction of Mr. Dickinson, for whom he worked so long, and by whom he was much esteemed. The funeral took place from the Tremont House. Dr. Bingham, of the First Congregational Church, officiating. A number of Grove’s friends followed his remains to their last resting place, in a quiet, beautiful spot in Linwood, which had been purchased.
