CASCADE, Iowa - Lori K. "Pris" Donovan-Koppes, 55, of Cascade, died at 7:18 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

Services for Lori will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 28, at St. Martin's Catholic Church, Cascade, with the Rev. Douglas Loecke officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cascade. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Reiff Funeral Home, Cascade, where there will be a wake service at 4 p.m.

She was on born Jan. 20, 1956, in Monticello, daughter of Leon and Clestine "Sally" (Neyens) Wolfe. She was a graduate of the former Aquin High School in Cascade.

Pris was a waitress at Marilyn's Cafe in Cascade. She also was a bookkeeper for Merl's Welding in Cascade for 25 years.

She was a member of St. Matthias Parish in Cascade.

Pris was a kind person who always put family first. She loved her time with her daughter and three little blondies. She took pride in taking care of her yard, garden and home. Her weekends were spent at her second home on the river, Buenie, where she loved to relax and fish. Pris loved to cook and was known for her fried chicken.

Surviving are her sweetheart, Merlin Koppes, of Cascade; a daughter, Jaime (Brandon) Waddle, of Lake Panorama; three grandchildren, Jaelyn Rose, Ella Jean and Mia Celestine; six step children, Joe (Laurie) Koppes, of Cascade, Carla (John) Cleary, of Brandon, Miss., Karen (Kevin) Althoff, of Cascade, Laura (Phil) Decker, of Cedar Rapids, Roger (Carrie) Koppes, of Cascade, and Colleen (Don) Schwenker, of Maquoketa; 14 step grandchildren; two step great-grand children; three brothers, Steve (Vicki) Wolfe, of Mason City, Gary "Baldy" Wolfe and Charles Neyens, both of Cascade; and a sister, Judy (Norman) Kremer, of Cascade.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, George "Whitey" Neyens; a sister, Patti Felton, on July 9, 2003; her mother and father-in-law, Helen and Ray Koppes; and a brother-in-law, Chuck Kopppes.

A Lori K. Donovan-Koppes Memorial Fund has been established.
