Mrs. Theresa K. Milbert, 90, of Dyersville, died Friday, Sept. 9, 2005, in Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville, where the parish and Catholic Daughters of America rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, St. Francis Xavier Basilica, with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. The Rev. Douglas Loecke will officiate.

Mrs. Milbert was born June 15, 1915, in Bankston, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Mary Jane (Arlen) Rauen. She married Adrian "Butch" Milbert on Nov. 10, 1937, in Bankston. Theresa was a devoted wife and mother, a Mercy Hospital Auxiliary volunteer and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. For the past nine years her dog, Audi, was a constant companion.

Survivors include two sons, Roger (Mary) of Albuquerque, N.M., and Jude (Lisa) Milbert of Dyersville; a daughter, Mary Jo (Melvin) Frericks of Cedar Rapids; 13 grandchildren, Mora (Jay) Smith, Gwen Meyer, Gail (Tom) Kruse, Jan (Greg) Martin, Amy Link, Todd Milbert, Tracy Manders, Kristen (Finlay) Woodruff, Kara (Loren) Smith, Drew Frericks, Blake (Deanna) Frericks, Michelle Milbert and Cassandra Milbert; 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Myrene Lattner of Bankston and Florence (Ray) Callahan of Epworth; two brothers, Bud (Eileen) Rauen of Bankston and Bill (Janice) Rauen of Dubuque; and a lifelong friend of 60 plus years, Clara Leigh of Dyersville.

Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian, in 1973; a daughter, Karol Link, in 1987; three sisters, Luella Beckman, Ardella Even and Rita Mae Hess; and one brother, Peter Rauen.

A Theresa Milbert memorial fund has been established.
