Mrs. Catherine Edwards died at her residence in this city Wednesday. This intelligence will call up in the mind of many readers, the remembrance of one of the kindest old ladies that ever acted the kindly part of nurse. There are some women who are born to be kind and helpful to all around them who ask or need help, and Mrs. Edwards, we are assured, was one of these. She had reached the very advanced age of ninety-six years, and had witnessed multifarious changes, which have been in Dubuque society in the last 30 years, and they are about all the years are city can say much about. There are few that round out so many years with so many good works. A faithful servant has gone to a blessed reward.
