Cascade Pioneer, Feb. 2, 1894

The remains of Mrs. Eliza Tarns, of Kipp, Saline County, Kansas, were brought to Cascade for burial in the Protestant cemetery last Thursday, the funeral taking place, Friday, January 26, 1894, and the services were conducted by Rev’s. Lill and Barton. The deceased was a native of Ireland and was 56 years old. Her husband and three children are buried here the family originally resided in the Cowan neighborhood on Farm Creek.
