GONE HOME

Many will see with regret the announcement of the death of Mrs. Phebe Reed, who passed from earth Monday morning, after an illness of fourteen months, the last four of which she was confined to her house. She was the mother of ten children, of whom three daughters and four sons are living. She was a member of the M. E. Church, a faithful Christian, a good wife and tender mother, and departs after having passed her 50th year, leaving sorrowing hearts behind. Her parting injunction and farewell hope was that those whom she loved would live that they will join her in the happy hereafter. With that wish on her lips, she resigns her soul to her Maker and slept peacefully in death.
