Dubuque (Iowa) Herald on Sept. 5, 1889.

DIED AT THE POOR HOUSE

Early on Wednesday morning Tim Sullivan, an inmate of the poor house, died of consumption. He had been there a few months, and his old other, now about seventy years of age, was with him. He had lived at the lower end of the town neatly forty years, having come here from Ohio, where he was born, when only eight years of age. His father, who had the same name, was killed at Rock Cut about nineteen years ago. Sullivan was a harmless kind man, but could not get on well. He was buried yesterday at St. Philomena.
