MRS. ROSINA ROTH.

New Vienna, Ia., April 10.--Special: Funeral services for Mrs. Rosina Roth, who died here at her home Monday morning, were held in St. Boniface church at 9:30 o'clock Wednesday morning. Rev. Father Reinert read a mass of requiem and burial was made in St. Boniface cemetery. The pallbearers were John Ahlers, August Detmer, Franz Bruening, Henry Welchert, Barney Dentmeyer, Jossph Bockenstedt, Ferdinand Freking, John Mescher.

Mrs. Rosina Roth, nee Rosina Harter, was born March 18, 1854, in Pennsylvania.

On April 22, 1873, she married Peter H. Roth. Mr. and Mrs. Roth engaged in farming near Cassville, Wis., for about three years. In 1881, 50 years ago, they came to New Vienna where Mrs. Roth resided until her death. Her husband preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 1906.

She is survived by the following children: Charles F. Roth, Ackley; John A. Roth, Dubuque; Reynold F. Roth, Dubuque; Mrs. Henry Grobstick, Dubuque; Mrs. Henry Osterhaus, Millar, S. D.; Nora at home; Mrs. John Welter, Luxemburg, and Mrs. Al Fangmann, Dubuque. She is also survived by one sister, Sib__ Schneider, of Aberdeen, S. D., and the following brothers: Edward, Frank and Henry, Guttenberg; John of Marshfield, Wis., and Charles, of Seneca, Wis. Thirty-two grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survives. Two sons, Henry and Peter, preceded her in death.
