Married Elizabeth Rawson 1-18-1867 in Grant Co., WI. He and the first Elizabeth had two children, Clara May Wilkinson b.7-6-1871 d.10-13-1874, and William B. (Will) Wilkinson b.3-1868 Grant Co. WI., and d. bet 1920-1930 Pasadena, CA. Elizabeth Rawson died 7-6-1874 and he married Elizabeth Simpson 10-18-1881, she helped raise Will with James.
