Herman L. Fritschie, 73, former Dubuque, resident of Carmichael, Calif., died at 4 a.m. Saturday at Carmichael.

He was an accountant formerly with the Standard Oil Company and the U. S. Internal Revenue Department.

Surviving are a son, Paul J. Fritschie of Carmichael; three daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Ruth) Traynor, Clarion, IA, Mrs. Russell (Betty) LaMantia, Palos Park, Ill., and Miss Elaine Fritschie, Carmichael: four grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Mont and Mrs. A. D. Swartzel, both of Park Forest, Ill., and Mrs. Albert (Mollie) Betz, Iowa City, Ia.

Complete funeral arrangements will be announced.
