The prayer service will be at 2:45 p.m.

On June 19, 1928, Rosemary's story began. Since Rosemary was born in the same year as Mickey Mouse, it was only destiny that she fell in love with this Walt Disney character.

Rosemary was born in Dubuque, the daughter of Fred and Mary (Pribyl) Rhomberg. Her family moved to a farm in LaMotte at the age of 10. As a young adult she worked at the Dubuque Licorice Factory and Flexsteel.

She married Lawrence Kremer on September 16, 1948. Rosemary and Lawrence started their life together in LaMotte on the family farm where Lawrence was raised. Lawrence preceded her in death on February 15, 1989. In 2006, the family's farm was honored as a Century Farm by the State of Iowa. Rosemary remained on the farm until the age of 88.

Rosemary truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: cheering on the Chicago Bulls, working in her garden, mending clothing, completing puzzles, smiling at anything purple, and spoiling her beloved dog Mickey.
Her wit and personality made her loved by many. Family was everything to Rosemary. She was so proud to watch her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up and loved having them visit the farm. Her extraordinary work ethic was truly inspiring. Her influence will remain forever in the lives of those who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Rosemary's memory include her children: Gary (Karen) Kremer, Terry (Nancy) Kremer, Bob (Judy) Kremer of LaMotte, Jean (Ted) Huseman of North Aurora, Illinois, Jim (Jan) Kremer of LaMotte, Jane (Paul) Vetter of Lakeville, Minnesota, Rod (Carrie) Kremer, Loren (Carrie) Kremer of LaMotte, and Mary (Chuck) Michel of Bellevue, Iowa; grandchildren: Stephanie Valentine, Matt Kremer, Tricia Carty, Laura Duncan, Rachel Kremer, Nick, Eric, and Curt Schiesl, Jessica Willimack, Jena Petersen, Derek, and Jared Hueneke, Staci, Brad, and Jillian Huseman, Jamie and Jackie Kremer, Christi, Brianna, and Skylar Vetter, Tyler, Holly, Megan, and Amber Kremer, Taylor, Jack, Sam, and Kendall Kremer, and Tori and Jonathan Michel, and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Genevieve Theis, Veronica Rhomberg, and Mary Lou Rhomberg.

Rosemary was also preceded in death by her parents, her sons Alvin and Melvin Kremer, daughter-in-law Sharon Kremer, grandson Nicholas Michel and brothers Ray, Alfred, and Leonard Rhomberg.

The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Christopher Stille, the Mercy Medical Center staff, Jackson County Hospice for their compassionate care, and Deacon Loras Weber for his guidance throughout this journey.
