Anton Trueb died Sunday morning at Mercy Hospital. Deceased was 50 years old being born in Arbon, Canton Thurgal, Switzerland, and came to this country in 1874, making his home in Dubuque ever since.

Mr. Trueb was a well-known character among Dubuque citizens, and had conducted a grocery store for many years at – Street but for the past----in ill health. He is survived by five children and two sisters. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the residence of his sister, Mrs. Schmidt, – College Avenue, to Linwood Cemetery. Rev. M. Orvis will officiate.
