Mrs. Lawrence H. (Hazel) Meyer, 72, of 2335 Roosevelt Street, died at 4:20 p.m., Sunday at Xavier Hospital.

Her first husband, Lillard Kieler, died in July 1949.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call until 9 p.m. Sunday at the Gene Siegert & Son Westside Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, where the scripture wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday.

Mrs. Meyer was born in Grant County, Wis., and had been employed at the Dubuque Packing Company prior to her retirement in 1971. She was a member of the HolyTtrinity Society and the Amalgamated Meat Cutter and the Butcher Workmen No. 150.

Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Mark (Jean) Adams, of Lancaster, Wis., Mrs. Gene (Marilyn) Sullivan of Sherrill, Ia., and Mrs. Patrick (Ruth) Rea of Bernard, Ia., a stepdaughter Mrs. Miles (Luella) Hagman of Welton, Ia., a stepson, Irwin Meyer of Epworth, Ia., and 24 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Hazel Meyer memorial fund has been established.
