Husted, Passes away, Age 73 Years

Judge Husted received the sad news this morning of the death of his aged mother, Mrs. Almira Husted, which took place at their home in Mason City late last night. The telegram conveyed no particulars of her death, merely giving the fact that she had died. The deceased was a representative of the sturdy eastern people who were among the early settlers of Iowa and was a woman of good education and exemplary Christian character. She was 73 years of age, and a widow, her husband having died several years ago. The latter was buried at Epworth where the remains of Mrs. Husted will be brought for interment. Judge Husted left today to attend the funeral in Mason City.

It is a rather strange coincidence that the mothers of both members of this well-known law firm should die within a few hours of each other. Mrs. Michel having passed away Saturday.
