MORNING AT FINLEY HOSPITAL

Was Injured by Explosion of
Dynamite at Eagle Point
Two Weeks Ago

Anton Leitner, who was injured by an explosion of dynamite while at work on the Eagle Point High Bridge approach, two weeks ago Wednesday, died of his injuries at Finley Hospital this morning at 9:30 o’clock. The deceased was 44 years of age, a native of Germany and came to this country fourteen years ago. He is survived by his wife and three children residing at 2026 Garfield Avenue, where the remains were taken shortly after the death occurred. The accident which resulted so fatally happened while Leitner was engaged in carrying a stick of dynamite. The explosion tore off one of his arms and after being removed to the hospital it was found that he was also injured internally.
